issued a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 10 for the Chief Joseph Dam Project. To ensure the protection of water quality and human health, this NPDES permit establishes limits on the types and amounts of pollutants that can be discharged from the Project and requires routine monitoring of discharge points. The Corps is seeking an accredited laboratory for analytical services to demonstrate compliance with the NPDES permit limits for Oil and Grease.
