This is a REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) NOTICE FOR CONSTRUCTION FOR PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. Project Title: Electrical Distribution Inspection Repairs THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT PAY NOR REIMBURSE ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH RESPONDING TO THIS REQUEST. THE GOVERNMENT IS UNDER NO OBLIGATION TO AWARD A CONTRACT AS A RESULT OF THIS NOTICE. The following information is provided to conduct market research to determine the availability of contractors that can perform the work for this project at the Wilmington, Delaware VA Medical Center (WVAMC). Work to be Performed: This project is to repair all inspection findings as a result of failures in WVAMC s electrical inspection and testing report. The project consists of: o Review and validation of inspection results o Procurement and installation of circuit breakers and racking mechanisms o Repair old racking mechanisms and provide VAMC as future spares o Repair old circuit breakers and provide VAMC as future spares o Evaluation of failed circuit breakers o Repair of all deficiencies listed on Low Voltage Power Circuit Breaker Test and Inspection Deficiency Summary.
