INTRODUCTION Battelle Energy Alliance LLC (BEA), the Management and Operating Contractor of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) owned Idaho National Laboratory (INL), is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from qualified recyclers capable of organizing residential electronic waste (e-waste) collection events in states without e-waste recycling regulation (i.e., nonregulated states) to support INL’s research and operational mission. This service is essential for raising awareness, increasing collection volumes and verifying whether successful collection methods from a regulated state can be applied to a nonregulated state with comparable results. Eligible states for this work include Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho (except eastern and southeastern region), Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Tennessee and Wyoming.
