Purpose The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Strategic Acquisition Office (SAO East), is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to identify qualified and capable sources for recurring kitchen deep cleaning services, performed twice per month (24 service visits per year) for the Nutrition and Food Service (NFS) kitchen(s) at the Washington DC VA Medical Center (DCVAMC), 50 Irving Street NW, Washington, DC 20422. This RFI is strictly for market research and does not obligate the Government to award a contract. 2. Background DCVAMC requires comprehensive, recurring deep cleaning to maintain a clean, sanitary, and inspection ready kitchen environment that reduces grease buildup, protects food preparation areas, and supports compliance with health and sanitation standards (including readiness for routine health department and Joint Commission inspections).
