PRE-SOLICITATION SYNOPSIS The Marine Design Center of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) intends to initiate an Invitation for Bid (IFB) in the near future to procure services for drydocking, maintenance, repair, and completion of required ABS Surveys for the NASA Barge PEGASUS. The period of performance will be 60 calendar days after issuance of Notice to Proceed by the Contracting Officer. There will be liquidated damages associated with this procurement. Prior to the award of this Contract, the Contractor shall enter into a Mastership Agreement for Repair and Alteration of Vessels. If the Contractor has entered such an agreement prior to this Contract, that agreement may be utilized. For more information, see DFARS Subpart 252.217-71, Master Agreement for Repair and Alteration of Vessels. The Invitation for Bid Number (IFB) solicitation is intended to be available on or about October 20, 2026. Hard copies will not be available. No written or fax requests will be accepted.
